The lady that checked us in was very polite and courteous, and the staff that we encountered were all very friendly and helpful. We chose this property due to it's proximity to the area we wanted to see and the price point for the hotel itself. I’d try something else next time.Ġ.49km from Pins Mechanical Company We were traveling through with our family on our way home and decided to stop in the area to see the Historic German Village. I got the 10th floor instead of the top (11th) to avoid the subsonics from the roof air handlers, but felt them in my room too. I didn’t hear much from the outside but in the room was constant thrumming of various heating/cooling/other systems. There were no “about the neighborhood” books and the channel on the TV only said, basically, “just stay here! We have everything!”. The bed was one of those horribly soft things that people seem to love these days. It’s a drawer that doesn’t hold much (forget about a ½ gal of milk) and the temp doesn’t appear to be able to be adjusted. It took a while to find the refrigerator. It’s nice that you need to swipe your room key in the lobby to unlock your floor. Your phone can serve as a room key (which I guess folks now expect). With some street graffiti look alike thrown in. The décor is an odd mix of extremely modern and old just founded city. Valet parking ($33 night) is your only option. Only has about 8 rooms per its 11 floors and is crammed into a small space. There are tons of restaurants/bars within easy walking distance. 0.41km from Pins Mechanical Company Stopped in for an evening on a Wed to see a Roger Waters concert at Nationwide Arena.
